Condominium and MCST mailbox lock replacement
Whether it is one unit or an entire mail room, condominium work runs on the managing agent's terms — so we handle the approval side before anything is scheduled.
Single unit in a condo
If it is your own unit's mailbox, this is the same job as any other letterbox lock: send a photo, get a written price, we fit it and you pay after you have confirmed it works.
The one condo-specific wrinkle is access. Mail rooms are often behind a residents' card reader, so either you meet us there or you arrange lobby access with the concierge. Mention which when you send the photo.
Whole mail rooms and MCST work
Block-wide replacement is a different kind of job. It needs MCST or managing agent approval, a survey of the actual bank, and coordination so residents are not cut off from their mail mid-afternoon.
We run these as one coordinated visit with a single invoice and a per-unit breakdown attached. Five or more units takes 5% off; ten or more takes 10%; twenty or more is priced by written quote after the survey.
What managing agents usually ask for
A written scope and per-unit price before the committee meets. A single consolidated invoice rather than per-resident billing. Confirmation that residents keep access throughout. And a consistent model across the bank so future maintenance is a single part number.
We can provide all four in writing before you take it to the committee. Ask and we will prepare the document — there is no charge and no obligation to proceed.
Common questions
Do I need HDB or MCST approval to change my letterbox lock?
For your own unit's letterbox you do not normally need approval — the lock is yours to maintain. For a block-wide or common-area mailbox bank, the MCST, managing agent or town council must approve the works first, and we help prepare that request before anything is scheduled.
Do you service HDB and condo letterboxes islandwide?
Yes. We cover every HDB town and condominium in Singapore, plus landed homes and outdoor mailboxes. We plan routes across the island each day, so your job is slotted into the next run passing your postal sector and you get a confirmed arrival window before we travel.
How much does a letterbox lock installation cost in Singapore?
Supply and installation starts from S$50 for a standard HDB or condo letterbox. If the mailbox is locked and the key is lost, opening adds S$25 per unit, so a typical open-and-replace job starts at S$75. Digital touch-PIN models start at S$60 and the range tops out at S$85. Urgent installation adds S$10. The final price is confirmed in writing after we review your photo.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No call-out fee and no attendance fee. Standard visits on our daily route carry no travel charge at all. The only additional charge is S$10 for urgent installation, a special arrangement outside our planned route — and that figure is in your written quote before we travel.
