A mailbox mounted at a gate, on a pillar or free-standing in the open is a different engineering problem from a sheltered HDB letterbox bank — and it needs a different lock.
Singapore gives an exposed mailbox lock the worst of everything: sustained high humidity, driving rain on the monsoon side, and direct afternoon sun that drives moisture in and out of the mechanism every day. A lock that lasts a decade in a sheltered corridor can seize within eighteen months on an exposed gate post.
Coastal estates are harder still. Salt accelerates corrosion on the cam and the retaining hardware long before the visible face shows anything.
Digital touch-PIN, no-battery combination and traditional keyed. Every price covers the lock and professional installation — fitting is never billed separately.

Large easy-grip dials and clear numerals, with code recovery.

Zinc alloy body built for outdoor and high-use mailboxes.
Best for: Landed homes, gate-side and corridor mailboxes exposed to weather.

4-digit code, 10,000 combinations. No battery, code recovery included.
Best for: Blocks that have had mail tampering, or anyone wanting maximum codes.

Our toughest build: zinc alloy, 4-digit code, code recovery.
Best for: Exposed, high-use mailboxes that also need the wider code range.
For exposed positions we steer strongly towards the zinc-alloy bodies — P6 at S$65 and P9 at S$85. Both are mechanical, so there is no battery compartment for water to find.
We generally advise against the digital touch-PIN models in a fully exposed position. They are excellent in a sheltered corridor or a covered porch, but a keypad taking direct rain is a maintenance problem you do not need.
In most cases, yes. Send one straight-on photo of the mailbox front and we identify the cut-out, cam type and swivel direction, then confirm in writing which model fits. If we confirm a model and it does not fit on site, you pay nothing — including no attendance fee.
Supply and installation starts from S$50 for a standard HDB or condo letterbox. If the mailbox is locked and the key is lost, opening adds S$25 per unit, so a typical open-and-replace job starts at S$75. Digital touch-PIN models start at S$60 and the range tops out at S$85. Urgent installation adds S$10. The final price is confirmed in writing after we review your photo.
No call-out fee and no attendance fee. Standard visits on our daily route carry no travel charge at all. The only additional charge is S$10 for urgent installation, a special arrangement outside our planned route — and that figure is in your written quote before we travel.
After the job is done and you have confirmed it. We install the lock, send you a short video of it working, and you only pay once you are satisfied. There is no deposit, nothing to pay online and no card details taken.
