Clockwise or anti-clockwise letterbox lock?
The direction depends on which side of the lock the frame is. Get it wrong and the lock turns, but the door stays open.

How to tell
- Face the mailbox door.
- Find the frame edge the cam needs to swing behind, usually the side nearest the lock.
- Imagine turning the key to lock: the cam must swing towards that edge. If that is a clockwise turn, you need a clockwise-locking setup.
Many locks let the cam be set either way. Check before buying, or let us set it on site.
FAQ
Can you match the existing lock on my letterbox?
In most cases, yes. Send one straight-on photo of the mailbox front and we identify the cut-out, cam type and turning direction, then confirm in writing which model fits. If we confirm a model and it does not fit on site, you pay nothing, including no attendance fee.
